Introduce yourself.: Hello, my name is Jonghoon Jung. I am assistant manager for Environment Support Team since January 2013.

Introduce your current duty.: Environment Support team manages waste water, waste product and chemical disposal emitted from the Onsan factory in compliance with national regulation. I am mostly in charge of chemical disposal and waste product and making sure that our disposal are always updated to the constant upgrading of environmental protection law.

What motivated you to apply for the relevant duty?: As a major in environmental engineering, I came to realize that I could be part of utilizing my major in large scale environmental workplace. For this, I applied for the Environmental Support Team in Hankuk Paper.

Were there any special things to prepare before being employed for this duty?: In order to become a Environment Expert, it is a must to get the necessary certification that is available around it. For me, I chose to get certified in Clean Air and Water and participated in environment related contest to expand my knowledge further more. This definitely helped in applying for a spot in this company.

What was the most memorable experience in your life at the company?: I was inspired by how clean the Onsan factory is compared to other large scale factories. It was also memorable of how all the employees in the factory was kind enough to explain every single detail of the facility itself. That memory still lingers in me. Through this motivation, I try my very best everyday to provide the same memorable moment for any new comers in the future.

Lastly, please offer a few words of advice to those applying for Hankuk Paper.: When I was a young applicant, everyone was telling me that it was hard to be employed. However, it appears now is worse than ever. But fear not! If you maintain your self-centeredness and strive for your goal, you will reach your destiny. I am most certain! Cheers to you all!
