- Hello, I am Sunhyuk Kim who was hired in January 2016 as an intern and have become permanent staff in April. I work in the Funding Team.
- Introduce your current duty.
- The funding Team is divided in to Funds and Bonds, where I am in charge of the bonds. It is my duty to prevent any bad debts in advance while performing sales activities, and if found, an immediate solution has to be applied to collect as much as I can to prevent further damage. It is important to have knowledge in Credit Status & Limit validation and relative laws and policies. Also, communication skills are required with sales agents.
- What motivated you to
apply for the relevant duty? - I always had interest and love towards number and analysis during my Economics major back in the day. Not to forget my interest in finance and accounting as well. I have been building my career working in relative industry and for this I was able to narrow down my path to Funding Team which requires immediate decision making skills along with future analysis.
- Were there any special
things to prepare before being
employed for this duty? - I was specially interested in finance and accounting during university. My passion grew bigger as my studying days were coming to its end, so I have extended my passion by gaining certification and studying fund related law. I have even participated in Business Administration Exam Training course and prepared myself for accounting exams. Though, that plan did not prolong due to an employment , I still gained many knowledge during the studies. I have also gained Commercial Law and Tax Law Certification along the way. Other than this, a debate with candidates about Company Analysis and Evaluation has provided a great experience for my career as well.
- What was the most memorable
experience in your life
at the company? - For the first 3 months of my employment, I could not forget the warmth welcome and treatment that the Hankuk Paper Employees have provided me despite the fact that the Funding Team had the most busiest working schedule and most stressful job. Thanks to the help of our families in Hankuk Paper, I was able to fight through this field. I would like to send my gratitude to all Hankuk Paper family through this interview. Our funding Team creates a Credit data every month and it’s our goal to make sure all the numbers that has been collected are a perfect match. Upon completion of each data, I cannot describe to you how relieving it feels, the satisfaction of zero error is indescribable. Just like the joy of achievement you get at the end of very difficult mathematical problem. That is my most memorable day.

- Hankuk Paper is my most valuable first job and a place where I can show my capacity to grow together with the company.
