Hi, my name is Sol Kim from Sales Strategy Team who is in charge of marketing in Hankuk Paper. I was first hired as intern in May 2016 and has become permanent in August 2016.
Introduce your current duty.
Our marketing Team provides online, offline communication between customers. As I’m still new, my role is to assist the online communication task that consist of controlling corporate image, brand, identity off Milk Product which is a carbon paper manufactured by Hankuk Paper. The main platform of these communications are done through social media such as Facebook and our official homepage which is still in process.

What motivated you to
apply for the relevant duty?
I had a dream to make do a brand and its value after majoring in PR & Advertisement, and this made me applied for a job in Marketing Team.
Were there any special
things to prepare before being
employed for this duty?
The advantage of Hankuk Paper is strong financial structure and high potential in improvement and growth. I hope that we can work together. Thank you.I have noticed that the completion in marketing was very high compared to other field. I was scared and ready to back down as I thought I did not have the change, however I decided not to give up and step one foot at a time and challenge myself. Internship was the first step. I had a small experience in consumer goods before being hired to Hankuk Paper, and this helps greatly in understanding marketing and knowing how to run on the actual field. I believe this has become my strong point which made me possible to becoming a permanent staff. I have also studied photoshop and illustrator from my personal interest in design, and this also has become a great tool in providing valuable task quality to Hankuk Paper.

What was the most memorable
experience in your life
at the company?
I feel that “The First” is always the most memorable moment of life. My first day as intern was a day I was given many task and care. I was first given a seat, first given a employee card, a diary, fresh new stationeries and many more. Even though I was a stranger to the existing staff, they treated me no different to their family and I could really feel the warmth from them. My first assignment was to create a sales promotion gift for Milk that was called “The Milk Dream”. Milk dream was created to “Cheer all customers of 2017 with dreams and to give all Milk have” and for this project a lot of accessory gift such as diary, calendar, and notes were readied to be manufactured. We had the best feedback from our customers and through this I have made another dream to create a new concept gift kit every year for our customers.
What is ‘Hankuk Paper’ to you?
-ing! The present progressive form. Hankuk is a company that dreams of growth as I do. And so “We are –ing!”

When I first applied for a job in this company, I was not so young to start of my career as intern. However it was the best day of my life when I was contracted as a permanent staff after my hard work. The most important thing in life is your Self-Belief. If you believe, you will get the best result that you have hoped for. Let’s start a new life together in Hankuk Paper!
