The other name of Hankuk Paper, THE PAPERMASTER

- HANDMADE KOREA FAIR 2015

The largest hand-made artist festival in Korea, the handmade Korea Fair, which celebrates its fifth birthday this year, was held at COEX, Samseong-dong, Seoul from July 23rd to 26th. The reason why the Korean paper booth was exceptionally brilliant despite the bright and delicate touches of each person was it because of the new name 'The Papermaster'? Let's take a look at the scenery that was rich and colorful.

The Papermaster’s Booth

The 2015 Handmade Korea Fair, with its slogan of "5GO (buy, watch, enjoy and participate)," has attracted the largest number of brands and artists, with 650 booths and 550 exhibitors each. It was a great opportunity to see the unique and colorful items such as a Animal companion hall and a homemade food zone in one place. The Hankuk Paper booth, which had an orange jacket, was very different in appearance and composition from the previous year. The booth, which was built in the shape of a large toolbox, reminded us of the comprehensive sample book "The Papermaster" that Hankuk Paper introduced in 10 years. In fact, there was a showcase on the front of the booth showing the VIP sample book and various promotional materials using paper produced from Hankuk Paper, so that visitors in the exhibition hall were impressed with the excellence of Hankuk Paper products. The people who have contributed in the Hankuk Paper booth changes were artists from OnGuRu Co.,Ltd. The collaborative work with famous illustrators in the planning stage caught both races of 'quality promotion' and 'artistic sensitivity' in Hankuk Paper.

Enjoy with communication and complete with communication The reason why the participation of handmade fair of Hankuk Paper was more meaningful can be found in the keyword 'communication'. By utilizing the hash tags of SNS, such as Facebook and Instagram, visitors were able to participate in promoting Hankuk Paper booths themselves, it has shown that the exchange between business and consumers is not unilateral by putting stationery containing illustrations of artists of OnGuRu Co., Ltd., who is responsible for planning and decorating booths. Particularly, drawing demonstration by illustrator Park Jung In brought the visitor to the Hankuk Paper booth for a long time. Park Jung In artist sitting in the artist 's workshop on the other side of the booth, drawing a character with a brush pen, and getting up at times and taking pictures of visitors with a cell phone camera was very close to ‘communication’. The detailed composition that revealed the potential and artistry of paper made it expect the next challenge of Hankuk Paper.
