We are accustomed to 'seeing' pictures and 'reading' novels. What if we look at the change in perception? If you read a novel and solve it as an artwork. On the other hand, if you can solve art works, you might find artistic fun to discover other charms. For three years, our company supported this exciting work and went to '3rd jeojag-geori (Literature and Art)' with the support of ARTE in the exhibition. On November 30, when the rain came down, the gallery on the second floor of the Hangaram Museum of Art was crowded with visitors with aesthetic curiosity. Next to the works of art, there were exhibitions of short stories by novelists such as Joongrae and Kim, and their novels. It was the scene of the collaboration which realized the story of the novel as an artwork and also solved the artwork with a short novel. A total of 13 teams and 120 paintings, installation arts and photographs filled the space with novelists and art artists paired. An exhibition that 'sees' novels and 'reads' pictures. The imagination of the novelist and the appreciation of the artists have added to the exhibition itself as a bridge between the art genres.

Just in time, a dialogue with the artist took place in one corner of the exhibition. The speakers were Jo Jung Rae novelist and Kim Mun Seok artist.There were about 50 readers during the dialogue with Kim Mun Seok who has read the novel by Jo Jung Rae <The mask of a human> about the ideological conflicts of Korea and put it into a drawing. The novel <The mask of a human> is about a man who lived through a century and Kim Mun Seok have expressed the story of his father who passed away after a similar life depicted from the story. The writer Jo Jung Rae said, “I am delighted that the novel, ‘the mask of a human’ was reborn through Kim Mun Seok’s spirits in an art piece.” also said, “I think neighboring art understands each other and consequently conceives a new work is a harmonious artistic act.”

After the dialogue session with the artists, the audience picked up their books and looked into the pieces again carefully before leaving the place. The book that was published for the exhibition was produced with ARTE 130g. ARTE Embodies the vividness that enables to feel the spirit of the art piece. I hope that the works expressed on ARTE will become more diverse, which will lead to good co-prosperity in next year's exhibition.
