The third ‘Handmade Korea Fair 2013’ has been a huge success with a bigger scale and more participants. To match the title of ‘Hand’, the exhibition provided full of things to see made by the human hands. 

Among many different pieces of art work, a booth named Hankuk Paper was noticeable. Paper is a best material friend to ‘Handmade’. Hankuk Paper have sponsored the ‘Handmade Korea fair 2013’ with papers and held a special exhibition with the Paper craft art pieces by Jang Hyung Soon artist. “I am delighted that paper could be presented proudly as art pieces and overcome the prejudice that paper could be used more then just for printing.” Like mentioned by the artist Jang Hyung Soon, the pieces showed off its new and unique charms showing the features of paper which are foldable, cut able, bendable and etc. Especially, the piece that are being made with Hankuk Paper’s Arte paper stood out with its luxurious and precise expression. 

Meanwhile, inside the booth with a pretty miilk package, people were able to experience the pop up cards themselves attracting more people. The pop up cards in a form of the Namsam Tower, Gwanghwamun square and DaBo Tower attracted various range of people from children to adults. “How is this made?” “It could be made through a simple assembly steps. Lift up the cut part and fold the card slowly.” The Media contents major students from Shin Gu university which has an university and corporate agreement, welcomed the booth visitors with a big smile.
